Permanant Makeup
What is permanent makeup? Permanent makeup is the implementation of a pigment into the skin. Permanent makeup is different than tattoos because it doesn’t go as deep into the skin. It’s more superficial and does not use an ink. It’s using a pigment. All permanent makeup sessions at Beautiful and Blessed require two appointments, eight weeks apart. We offer a variety of permanent makeup including microblading, microshading, lip blushing, eyeliner, powdered brows and color correction.
Microblading
Microblading is a manual technique that is used to implement pigment into the skin with a tool that has tiny needles on a blade where we cut hair strokes to mimic actual hair strokes into the skin. Microblading is not suitable for all. Microblading is best suitable for someone who already has a decent amount of hair that just needs a little more fullness, or someone with dry to normal skin. Microblading should be touched up yearly.
Lip Blushing
Lip blushing is the same technique as the powder brow, we come in with the tattoo machine and do a very subtle outline between the actual lip and the skin we need to create a crisp border. Then, with a soft, dusty technique we fill in the lips we can fill them in very subtle or we can fill them in more drastic. It’s totally up to the client. Lip blushing requires two sessions eight weeks apart after the lip color is implemented, they will last you anywhere from 1 to 5 years.
Eye Liner
We offer two different types of eyeliner tattoos here one will just be a lash enhancement eyeliner. It’s just what it sounds like it’s actually in the eyelashes there’s no wing and it just goes from the inner corner to the outer corner. Then we have a winged eyeliner, where we bring a wing out based on your eye shape. We also offer a lower eyeliner as well.
Powdered Brows
Powder brows can be done on all skin types. Powder brows are best suitable for aging or oily skin. Powder brows give them a more dramatic look if we do a thicker shading, but can also look very soft. If we do a light shading powder brows are our favorite brow because they work on every skin type and can be completely customizable. They also last the longest anywhere from a year to three years.
Color Correction
Color correction is done when an old permanent make up procedure has either turned a blue gray undertone or has turned a pink orange undertone. Our technicians are able to color correct with modifiers and then go back in with the desired color. Color correction is only suitable for people that don’t have too much pigment that it’s over saturated. If the pigment is oversaturated or too dark, saline or laser removal is required.
